Remanente Original Oil Painting

Remanente is a one-of-a-kind, large-scale original oil painting, bringing together three figures in warm terracotta, rose and ochre against a soft blue ground. Expressive, fragmented brushwork allows their forms to emerge and dissolve, giving the painting a sense of movement and an almost remembered quality.

At 120 × 160 cm, it has the presence to become the focal point of a room. From a distance, the figures hold your attention; closer up, individual marks and layers of colour invite a slower look.

This is the original painting, not a print. Only one exists.

The painting is shown stretched on a 3.5 cm-deep gallery-wrap canvas and can be displayed without an outer frame once re-stretched.

For delivery, the canvas is removed from its stretcher bars and carefully rolled in a heavy-duty, impact-resistant art tube. It arrives unstretched and will need professional re-stretching before hanging. Re-stretching is not included.
